Telmex Arden International’s Turkish weekend ended on a brighter note in this morning’s GP2 Series sprint race at Istanbul Park.

From 14th and 23rd on the grid, Edoardo Mortara and Sergio Perez made solid progress and worked their way up the field to finish ninth and 16th respectively – insufficient to earn either of them a point, but a positive note on which to finish a trying weekend.
