The Historical 2.760 km street circuit opened in 1933 has 15 corners, but minimal overtaking opportunities. T2 and T3 are the corners to watch for exciting overtaking.
The street circuit has high break wear and aerodynamic downforce is crucial.
90% of winners of the Pau circuit have won from pole, so qualifying is important to get into clean air for the race.
It will be the 76th edition of the Pau Grand Prix, which will see 30 cars line up on the grid. Drivers Dan Ticktum, Zane Goddard and Ghislain Cordeel will once again be taking to the track for Arden Motorsport as the team will acclimatise itself with the new circuit.
