Leon Wilson Takes Maiden Win at Snetterton Circuit in the GB4 Championship

Wilson wins race three of the Snetterton round to take his and Arden's first win of the GB4 championship

Leon Wilson was onto a flier in race three of the GB4 Snetterton round, having started P3 in the reverse grid, but immediately got a good start and overtook Berg on the lead up to Riches. He then went up the inside of Taylor on an impressive overtake at Wilson corner, to take the lead.

Wilson built up a good lead with almost half a second ahead of Taylor, before a safety car caused the race to come to a halt for several laps. With only four minutes left of the race, he managed to get a good safety car restart and held the lead for the remaining three laps before crossing the finish line 0.511s before Taylor.

Having had a rocky start to the weekend's first two races, Wilson fought back and finished the weekend on a high.

On top of this, Arden's Ava Dobson and Dudley Ruddock also made up places in race three, with Ruddock finishing above his qualifying position in all three races of this weekend's debut.

The Arden team are delighted to have gained their maiden win in GB4 after having joined the championship in 2024. But the fight doesn't stop there, they will be working hard to recreate this success at GB4's next round at Silverstone.
