Sebastian Fernandez Joins Arden for 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup Part-Season

Spanish driver Sebastian Fernandez will race for Arden Motorsport in the Formula Renault Eurocup.

Spanish driver Sebastian Fernandez will race for Arden Motorsport in the Formula Renault Eurocup, competing with the team in 6 races during the 2019 season.

The 18-year old will join Arden, alongside teammate Patrik Pasma for a part season in the revamped Formula Renault Eurocup championship.

Last season saw Sebastian compete in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship with Motopark for his first season on the third tier of the motorsport ladder.

Previously he competed in the 2017 Italian F4 Championship, which saw him take 4th overall in the championship standings with five victories over the course of the season.

He also competed in the ADAC and UAE F4 Championships during the 2016 season after making his step up to single seater racing, following a successful career in karting.

Sebastian will combine his Formula Renault Eurocup duties with Arden alongside racing with Campos in the newly formed FIA Formula 3 Championship.

Sebastian will join his teammate for pre-season testing of the new Tatuus Formula Renault Eurocup car, which starts tomorrow, in preparation for the new season which begins at Monza on the 13-14 April.
